Hi, I'm Rekha.
My journey into art began long before Varnaalaya Arts was born. While I once worked as a software engineer, my heart was always drawn to colors, stories, and the quiet magic of creativity. In 2011, I chose to follow that calling and turn my passion into a purpose.
For over 15 years, I have had the privilege of guiding more than 2,000 children and aspiring artists, helping them discover not just the joy of creating art, but the confidence to express themselves freely.
My love for art is deeply rooted in India's rich artistic heritage. From the timeless elegance of Kerala Mural and Tanjore Painting to the vibrant traditions of Madhubani, Gond, and Warli Art, I believe every brushstroke carries a story waiting to be told.
At Varnaalaya Arts, I see art as more than a skill—it is a journey of self-expression, imagination, and discovery. My vision is to create a nurturing space where creativity blossoms, confidence grows, and every artist finds their unique voice.
