Our Story
Varnaalaya Arts started with a simple belief: everyone deserves a welcoming space to explore their creativity. Today, our Bangalore studios have become a trusted second home for kids and adults who want to learn, grow, and unwind through art.
Founder's Vision
Rekha, our founder, envisioned a space in Bangalore where traditional techniques meet modern expression. "Art is about finding a quiet space where you can be completely yourself," she believes.
How We Teach
We keep batch sizes small so every student gets genuine personal attention. While we ensure strong foundations in drawing and painting, we never lose sight of making the process fun, rewarding, and deeply therapeutic.

Hi, I'm Rekha.
Once a software engineer, I chose to follow my calling in 2011, turning my passion for colors and creativity into a lifelong purpose.
For over 15 years, I have guided more than 2,000 children and aspiring artists, helping them discover the joy of art and the confidence to express themselves freely.
Deeply rooted in India's rich heritage—from timeless Kerala Murals to vibrant Madhubani—I believe every brushstroke carries a story. At Varnaalaya Arts, my vision is to create a nurturing space where every artist finds their unique voice.
